Responsibilities
support the design and implementation of innovative Stormwater and climate resiliency infrastructure projects
manage the planning, design, and construction of these projects
review of plans with permit applications submitted by engineers to the City of Richmond
planning and engineering design for complex assignments
preparation of design and construction documents for wastewater and water facilities
review of engineering designs, bid packages, RFPs, and Statements of Work
active leadership in assignments as a member of a team
Requirements
minimum of a B.S. degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
minimum 5+ years’ experience in stormwater design/engineering
demonstrated experience developing designs and construction contract documents for complex infrastructure projects
Professional Engineering (PE) licensure, or working towards licensure, preferred.
VA DEQ Plan Reviewer certification required or the ability to obtain one within three months
