- Patient Financial Counselor providing clerical and administrative support for insurance and financial information. Engaging with patients regarding upcoming procedures at Providence Medical Foundation.
Responsibilities
- Provides clerical and administrative support including pre-registration, insurance verification, and price estimation/calculations.
- Responsible for calling and/or meeting with patients to provide and obtain insurance and/or financial information.
- Acts as the primary point of contact for patients with financial questions regarding upcoming procedures/appointments.
Requirements
- 1 year - Insurance verification experience.
- Bachelor's Degree: Or equivalent education/experience
- 1 year - Customer service experience in a medical setting.
- Mathematics/Claims processing background.
