Responsibilities

  • **Essential Responsibilities**
  • ** Product Ownership & Delivery**
  • Own and drive the product backlog, ensuring alignment with product strategy, business objectives, and customer needs.
  • Make informed prioritization decisions within and across sprints to maximize customer and business value.
  • Ensure backlog items are clearly articulated, well-refined, and appropriately estimated to support predictable delivery.
  • Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and discovery sessions, translating complex requirements into clear, actionable user stories.
  • Partner with Product Management to support roadmap execution and incremental delivery of strategic initiatives.
  • **Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement**
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality features on time.
  • Act as a trusted subject matter expert for the web platform, serving as a key point of contact for internal teams.
  • Proactively communicate priorities, trade-offs, risks, and progress to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Support alignment across teams by balancing technical constraints, user experience, and business priorities.
  • **Innovation & Continuous Improvement**
  • Stay current on industry trends, web and API technologies, and Agile best practices to inform product decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve development processes, product scalability, and customer experience.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement through data-informed decision-making and iterative learning**.**

Requirements

  • **Qualifications**
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Associate Product Manager, or in a similar product-focused role.
  • Strong experience in business process analysis and translating requirements into technical solutions.
  • Solid understanding of web application and API-based systems.
  • Proficiency with Agile/Scrum methodologies and backlog management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
  • Excellent decision-making, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with user-centered design principles and modern web usability standards.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive outcomes without direct authority.
  • Some travel may be required.
