Director of Grants Management for Planned Parenthood, executing grants strategy and pursuing funding opportunities. Responsible for writing proposals, overseeing grant lifecycle, and maintaining relationships with grantors.
Responsibilities
Prepare and implement annual grant plans with quantitative and qualitative goals and KPIs, including but not limited to the number of prospects under active management, number of solicitations, total amount to be raised, and deadlines for proposal submission.
Serve as PPMNJ's appointed contact and signatory for grant proposal and report submissions.
Ensure timely and up-to-date registration in federal systems such as SAM and state charities registration, as well as required internal authorizations for federal and state funding.
Research and identify new institutional funding opportunities that match PPMNJ's priorities and programs and evaluate the feasibility of grant development for these opportunities with the appropriate leaders.
Develop and implement solicitation strategies and compelling proposals to present the best case to foundations and government agencies.
Oversee grants calendar and tracking systems for all grant-related actions, including prospect research, LOIs, applications/proposals, and response data. Meet all funder requirements and deadlines and regularly update information in the development database.
Maintain paper and electronic foundation and government files. Utilize the Salesforce system for proposal submission dates, stewardship reports, and the next steps. Monitor the status of solicitations.
Write institutionally based grant proposals and reports for SRH services, advocacy and education programs, and capital requests.
Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
2+ years working in grant writing or grants management.
Demonstrates a history of successful grant and report management for non-profits, foundations, corporations, and or government agencies in a mid-to-large non-profit environment.
