Responsibilities
Develop, lead and continuously scale US Mobile’s privacy operations worldwide, partnering with corporate and operational leadership to ensure a best-in-class privacy program.
Own and manage US Mobile’s privacy policies, procedures, controls, documentation, and internal guidance in collaboration with Legal, Cybersecurity, and relevant compliance stakeholders.
Update and maintain the Record of Processing Activities (RoPA) to ensure compliance with applicable global privacy regulations.
Develop and deliver privacy training and awareness programs, including foundational training, role-based modules, and ongoing educational initiatives.
Champion a strong culture of privacy across the organization through direct engagement with product, engineering, marketing, and operational teams.
Lead privacy reviews for new and updated products and services; prepare privacy impact assessments and data protection impact assessments (PIA/DPIA) in partnership with business teams.
Advise on privacy disclosures and customer choices across US Mobile’s digital experiences, including web, mobile apps, and customer-facing platforms.
Coordinate with teams responsible for website content and customer experiences involving privacy considerations (e.g., cookies, privacy center content, support documentation).
Own and manage privacy rights request processes and supporting tools in compliance with global regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Partner closely with Customer Support and Operations teams to ensure privacy-related inquiries are tracked, handled efficiently, and resolved consistently.
Lead privacy compliance reviews and develop metrics, dashboards, and reporting for senior leadership.
Identify and pursue opportunities to leverage automation, AI systems, and advanced tooling to improve privacy operations and scalability.
Drive effective use of privacy management tools, data platforms, and project/reporting systems to enable data-driven privacy operations.
Work closely with Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Legal, People Operations, Product, and Engineering teams to align on US Mobile’s privacy goals and execution strategies.
Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders on privacy risk, trade-offs, and practical implementation approaches.
Requirements
Minimum 7 years of privacy operations experience in multinational, fast-growing, and complex organizations, preferably in technology, telecom, or digital services.
Experience must be focused on privacy operations and risk management (not solely information security or data governance).
Strong knowledge of global privacy regulations, including CCPA/CPRA and GDPR, with the ability to anticipate emerging regulatory trends.
Proven experience authoring and managing privacy policies, procedures, training materials, and compliance documentation.
Hands-on experience conducting PIAs/DPIAs and privacy assessments related to AI or data-driven systems.
Deep understanding of privacy principles and best practices and how to operationalize them at scale.
Strong knowledge of consumer-facing privacy risks, including website tracking, cookies, and digital marketing technologies.
Ability to operate independently in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on clarity and executive-level communication.
Strong analytical skills with experience building metrics, dashboards, and leadership reporting.
High proficiency with privacy tools, Google Workspace, analytics platforms, and project management tools.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally while maintaining ownership and accountability.
CIPP certification required.
