Responsibilities
- Manage, analyze and optimize post-sales and Services expenditures to monitor results, maximize financial efficiency and reduce costs.
- Continuously monitor spending by comparing actual costs to planned costs and the results shown in the income statement (DRE) for active service contracts, supporting corrective actions when necessary to avoid budget overruns.
- Report Financial Performance: Produce financial and cost reports that present detailed information on expenditures and trends. These reports support senior management in strategic decision-making.
- Identify efficiency and cost-reduction opportunities: Review all post-sales and Services operations to find opportunities to cut costs without compromising service quality. This may include adopting more efficient technologies, negotiating supplier contracts or optimizing internal processes. Seek opportunities to streamline project processes, improve efficiency and reduce costs without compromising quality or delivery deadlines.
- Financial Risk Management: Identify risks that may impact project budgets — such as scope changes, technical failures or delays — and work to minimize or mitigate those risks.
- Reporting and Communication: Provide periodic reports on financial status, delivering clear information to executives to support decision-making.
- Evaluate and report Project Profitability: Assess project profitability by working closely with operational leads and providing feedback on the financial impacts of operations.
- Ensure effective control of Plan vs. Actual (P vs. A) for the Services operation, with continuous monitoring and periodic management reports to managers and the executive board.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Accounting, Statistics or related fields.
- Advanced Excel (essential — intensive daily use, so advanced skills are required for proper performance of activities).
- Power BI (primarily used as a reporting/analysis tool; knowledge of BI configuration is desirable).
- Experience with SAP is desirable.
- Intermediate English is desirable.
