About the role
- IT System Administrator for IT Operations at a technology leader in machinery. Administering servers, managing user access, and supporting IT projects.
Responsibilities
- Administration of servers (Windows / Linux) and Microsoft 365 services
- User and rights management in Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
- Administration of network components and security solutions
- Maintenance and further development of our hybrid IT environment
- Support for IT projects, e.g., rollouts, migrations or implementation of new applications
- Support for end users with IT issues at 1st and 2nd level support
- Coordination of external service providers and vendors
- Possible takeover of SAP Basis administration
Requirements
- Completed training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) or a degree in Computer Science / Business Informatics
- Experience in IT infrastructure (client, server, network, virtualization with vSphere)
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Entra
- Knowledge of Linux server operating systems
- Willingness to travel between our locations in Hattersheim and Gedern
- Team player with strong communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset
