Responsibilities
Produce detailed execution studies and calculation reports for trackworks, overhead catenary systems, turnouts/track components and related structures
Prepare technical dossiers required for supplier consultations and for coordinating works
Produce and verify layout plans, longitudinal profiles and cross-sections
Contribute to the development of intervention phasing and technical schedules
Conduct compatibility and impact studies and prepare technical assessments
Provide technical follow-up and support during the construction/site phase
Participate in design reviews, client meetings and technical site visits
Contribute to document management and ensure compliance with quality procedures
Requirements
Experience: 3 to 7 years in railway studies, railway civil engineering or track engineering
Education: Degree in civil engineering, railway engineering, infrastructure or equivalent (Master’s level/Bac+5 or significant equivalent experience)
Technical skills: strong knowledge of railway construction standards, plan reading and drafting, installation tolerances, turnouts/track components, catenary systems and civil structures (bridges, viaducts)
Regulatory knowledge: national railway standards and reference frameworks, site safety rules and track isolation/lockout procedures
Tools: proficiency in AutoCAD/REVIT or equivalent CAD, MS Project, Excel, Word and calculation/CAD tools; experience with railway design software is a plus
Languages: fluent French required; technical English desirable for document exchange and correspondence
Certifications/licenses: Category B driver’s license required for frequent travel; site safety authorizations/certifications (e.g., SECUFER or equivalent) appreciated depending on the project
