About the role
- Tax Associate Senior within PNC's Payroll Tax team. Managing tax reporting, compliance, and mentoring junior staff in an in-office environment.
Responsibilities
- Strong contributor to organizational tax reporting, tax planning and compliance function.
- Oversees the completion of accurate tax returns to manage risk and minimize the tax obligations of the organization.
- May also complete or assist with the completion of tax accounting entries and account reconciliations.
- Shows initiative and demonstrates autonomy in managing technical tax areas.
- Coordinates, facilitates and resolves all taxing authority inquiries and audits.
- Mentoring junior staff on appropriate regulations, filing procedures and internal communication needs.
- Keeps up-to-date with and advises others of company-related tax regulations at the federal, state and local levels.
