About the role

  • Asset Manager within PNC's Commercial Real Estate organization managing portfolios and borrower requests. Analyzing financial reports and evaluating credit risks in commercial real estate transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees portfolios and/or Borrower requests of routine to medium complexity for secured CMBS, Agency, SASB, SFR or other portfolios
  • Analyze financial reports including property operating statements, loan guarantor financials, loan level covenants, and market economic data
  • Review and interpret complex loan documents and servicing agreement provisions
  • Evaluate credit risk and propose risk mitigants using commercial real estate knowledge
  • Prepare and present formal recommendations for approvals according to authority delegations
  • Engage in verbal and written communication with external parties including borrowers, internal and external legal counsel, rating agencies, etc.
  • Collaborate with internal business partners using commercial real estate expertise

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Knowledge in Asset Management
  • Proficiency in Decision Making and Financial Accounting
  • Skills in Financial Management and General Ledger (GL)
  • Experience with Investment Management and Revenue Recognition
  • Strong competencies in Data Gathering and Reporting
  • Effective Communications and Financial Statement Analysis
  • Capable of Managing Multiple Priorities
  • Knowledge of Market Risk and Negotiating
  • Problem Solving in Regulatory Environment - Financial Services
  • University / college degree is preferred; alternatives include relevant job-specific certification(s) and experience (including military service)
