About the role
- Product Manager handling mobile app development projects for PlanetArt's R&D department. Collaborating with teams to ensure a seamless customer experience with mobile applications.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute mobile development projects
- Define project scope, objectives, and requirements
- Work closely with the team of Project Managers and mobile QA testers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
- Leverage advanced technical analytics skills including SQL querying, Google Analytics (GA/GA4), Amplitude and data visualization tools to monitor website performance, identify user behavior trends, and provide actionable insights that guide product strategy and feature optimization
- Create and maintain project timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time. Own the release date
- Monitor project progress and communicate potential risks or delays
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Creative and Content, to refine project scope and requirements
- Collaborate with the QA team to ensure thorough testing of mobile applications
- Identify, document and prioritize defect resolution
- Create, update and maintain project documentation in Confluence
- Work closely with development and QA teams to help resolve project-related issues
- Escalate issues to when necessary
- Monitor app performance, analytics and revenue. Act as an owner for the app business.
Requirements
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- 3+ years technical project management experience required
- Technical understanding of mobile/web technologies, platforms, and development methodologies
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with QA and testing practices for mobile/web applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a wide variety of audiences including technologists, executives, business partners and IT team members
- Ability to work collaboratively and cross-departmentally
