About the role

  • Head of Brand and Communications at Planet A Ventures, leading narrative and communications strategies in a venture capital setting. Engage audiences and shape brand identity for impactful investments.

Responsibilities

  • Full ownership of Planet A’s narrative and communication strategy across all channels, leading how we tell our story and ensuring our voice remains bold, consistent, and true to who we are.
  • Collaborate closely with the management team on event communications, thought leadership, and brand strategy for clear alignment with fund goals, while engaging internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and buy-in across teams.
  • Manage and coordinate our external PR and event agencies to ensure high-quality output.
  • Create and refine key materials, from newsletters to press releases, opinion pieces, and brand storytelling.
  • Leverage social media and digital channels to grow reach and engagement, exploring new creative ways to tell stories.
  • Support our portfolio companies with communication for funding announcements.
  • Build and nurture a strong network across the VC community to open doors for new opportunities and collaboration.
  • Keep us ahead of the curve, always looking for new ways to make Planet A’s voice stand out in the VC space.

Requirements

  • You have 4+ years of relevant experience in the venture capital or startups ecosystem.
  • You are a strategic, experienced communicator who can define the big picture but also jump into the details when needed.
  • You have a strong sense for brand and design, and know how to turn complex ideas into bold assets that grab our audience's attention.
  • You bring hands-on experience managing content across multiple formats and channels.
  • You are tech-savvy and excited by how communication can evolve with new tools, formats, and platforms.
  • You are a natural relationship builder who enjoys working with different personalities, from early-stage founders to LPs to journalists.
  • You love being part of a brand that is redefining what VC looks and feels like.
  • You have excellent written and spoken English skills.
