- Complete balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements.
- Utilize financial systems and tools (e.g., Acumatica, Excel) effectively to manage and analyze financial data.
- Work closely with other departments and stakeholders to gather information, resolve issues, and support business initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements in all financial activities.
- Assist in audit preparations and responses to audit inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate provision of financial information.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to resolve accounting issues and provide financial information as needed.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting procedures and systems.
- Complete tasks or projects assigned by the Controller or finance leadership
Requirements
- 2 years or greater degree preferred.
- Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office, primarily Excel & Word is a must.
- Experience with automated accounting systems is preferred, experience with Acumatica a plus.
- Prior experience with multi-state operations a plus.
