About the role

  • Key Account Manager for Pirelli managing international OEM relationships and achieving corporate goals. Responsible for volume, market share, and strategic customer negotiations.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving company objectives with internationally operating OEMs
  • Accountable for results (volume, market share, premium level, revenue, profit)
  • Independently responsible for annual and project negotiations for the region
  • Establishing, maintaining and strengthening customer relationships beyond procurement and planning (marketing, production and sales planning)
  • Monitoring ongoing business; performance control and actions
  • Budget creation & strategic planning
  • Forecasting: preparation, monitoring, action, bottleneck management
  • Global coordination (new projects, annual negotiations)
  • Close coordination with Technical Key Account Management
  • Identification and analysis of potentials and market influences
  • Coordination with specialist departments (logistics, production) in Milan and the regions
  • Supporting credit management

Requirements

  • You have a business or technical degree, or an equivalent qualification
  • Good English language skills (Level B); Italian desirable, as well as very good knowledge of MS Office, IT security and SAP
  • Professional experience in sales
  • Strong product and/or industry knowledge
  • Experience in customer retention
  • Persuasive with the ability to present and defend your point of view
  • Excellent financial and cost awareness
  • Goal-oriented and committed to delivering results
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-oriented approach
