About the role

  • Talent Director overseeing culture, engagement, and employee relations at Phillip Jeffries. Leading efforts to foster a positive work environment and operational compliance in a hybrid setting.

Responsibilities

  • You’ll be a steward of what makes PJ special — our values, our Great & Worthy Purpose, and the way people experience working here.
  • You’ll help ensure our culture isn’t just something we talk about, but something people feel every day.
  • You’ll guide engagement efforts, make sense of the data, and help leaders turn insight into action.
  • You’ll help leaders navigate the human side of leadership — the hard conversations, the gray areas, and the moments that matter most.
  • You’ll design thoughtful frameworks that promote fairness, trust, and accountability, while helping leaders build strong, healthy teams.
  • You’ll spot patterns early and help prevent issues before they become problems.
  • You’ll help shape how we reward, support, and care for our people — from benefits and wellness to compensation philosophy.
  • You’ll partner closely with Finance and external partners to make sure our programs are competitive, sustainable, and aligned with our culture.
  • You’ll make sure our people practices are solid, scalable, and compliant — without losing the human touch.
  • You’ll guide policy and compliance frameworks, oversee HR systems from a strategic lens, and ensure our processes support a great employee experience (not get in the way of it).
  • You’ll lead and develop members of our Talent team, collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, and work alongside leaders across the business.
  • You’ll be a connector — helping culture, systems, and leadership practices work together seamlessly.
