About the role
- I&I Field Medical Director responsible for providing GI product expertise and collaboration with Pfizer colleagues. Ensure effective communication and Medical strategy across assigned territories.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic area/product expertise for GI/inflammatory bowel disease across various segments
- Plan and execute Medical strategy and engagement for assigned customers
- Maintain required knowledge of relevant TA/disease states and Pfizer medicines
- Serve as a conduit and resource for Medical Information and customer insights
- Collaborate with Global Medical Affairs colleagues and identify potential clinical trial sites
- Deliver approved medical content about Pfizer medicines and relevant topics
- Cultivate research and therapeutic area expertise
Requirements
- PharmD, PhD, or equivalent terminal doctoral degree (e.g., Doctor of Nursing Practice, Doctor of Physical Therapy) highly preferred
- PharmD/PhD with 5+ years of experience, MBA/MSc with 7+ years of experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to understand and respond to multiple external and internal customers’ demands and manage and handle conflict constructively
- Experience in managing a significant volume of projects developed in a remote environment
