About the role
- Director leading operational strategies in clinical data management for Pfizer's diverse portfolio. Responsible for data monitoring, management, and ensuring high-quality application of data standards.
Responsibilities
- Works closely with department roles and cross-functional study team members to create data capture solutions
- Complies with applicable SOPs and work practices
- Serves on the data standards board
- Ensure operational excellence with data capture methods in support of the data review plan
- Directly supports knowledge development of data capture tools
- Identifies existing process/product improvements
- Develops innovative, advanced new concepts that improve processes/products
- Recognizes development needs and identifies/creates development opportunities within own team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, or Regulatory Agency
- Minimum of 4 years in a management role
- Understanding of drug development process and data operations
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and relevant data standards; CDISC knowledge is preferable
- Strong technical skills using relational databases and data visualization tools
- Experience in Oracle, PL/SQL, SAS, Java, relational database design
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite of tools
