Manage a portfolio of airline partners at Perk and secure optimal content. Collaborate across teams to boost revenue and performance in the airline ecosystem.
Responsibilities
Oversee and grow commercial relationships and negotiations with airline partners on behalf of Perk.
Collaborate with suppliers and Perk’s Product team to optimize for the best content, pricing, and connectivity from airline partners.
Identify and direct the execution of additional revenue opportunities across the airline supplier ecosystem.
Champion commercial oversight over the following:
Incentive strategy
Portfolio performance
Revenue Forecasting
Marketing Opportunities
Price Competitiveness
Collaborate cross-functionally and with relevant departments (Product Operations, Product, Customer Management, Finance, Marketing, and Business Development) to align on strategic initiatives, generate commitment and optimize results.
Identify key content gaps and functionality with airline suppliers to improve coverage.
Conduct profitability analysis.
Manage contract renewals and renegotiate conditions.
Represent Perk at industry events and continue to build brand and value recognition in the industry.
Requirements
Tenured experience working in the travel industry; ideally experience working with or for airlines, as well as knowledge of supplier partnership management practices.
Knowledgeable in various airline content distribution strategies.
Deep understanding of legacy (Edifact) and modern retailing (NDC) capabilities.
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills as well as a consultative approach.
Proficient analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions.
Proficient in data analysis tools and software such as Excel.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish desirable. Other European languages will be a plus.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
