Responsibilities
Serve as senior communications advisor to regional leaders, providing counsel on media strategy, executive positioning, thought leadership, and crisis management.

Oversee the LATAM agency of record, ensuring strong performance and clear return on investment.
Actively collaborate with global and functional teams to align regional efforts with broader business priorities.
Support internal communications initiatives that align employees with Pearson’s strategy and culture.
Requirements
7+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, executive communications, and issue management.
Strong understanding of the LATAM media landscape and regional stakeholder dynamics.
Proven track record of developing and executing high‑impact communications campaigns.
Credibility and confidence in counselling senior leaders.
Exceptional writing and editing skills across multiple formats.
Experience managing crisis communications, change initiatives, and complex stakeholder environments.
Highly collaborative mindset, with the ability to lead through influence and build trusted cross‑functional relationships.
Comfortable operating in a global, fast-paced, and highly dynamic environment.
Data-driven and agile, able to anticipate external trends and adapt communications strategies accordingly.
