Responsibilities
- Trusted advisor: You will act as a trusted advisor to operational and business leaders and play a central role in the company’s "cockpit."\n• P&L and balance sheet ownership: You will be responsible for the profit and loss statement and balance sheet of the business unit, acting like an entrepreneur in a start-up and developing measures to mitigate negative impacts and secure positive outcomes.\n• Proactive market and financial trends: You will proactively anticipate market, technology, and financial trends to keep ahead of the competition.\n• Budgeting and forecasting support: You will prepare budgets, plans, and forecasts for revenue, margin, and EBIT and support their achievement.\n• Strategic advising: You will serve as a strategic advisor to operational and business partners.\n• Deep-dive analysis: You will identify and conduct detailed analyses, get to the root causes, and work with operational units to develop action plans whose progress you will track.\n• Cash flow management: You will manage cash flow metrics and work with operational teams to develop plans to improve working capital.\n• Best-practice culture: You will promote a best-practice culture by participating in and leading various process improvement projects to simplify, streamline, and automate processes.\n• Stakeholder collaboration: You will work closely with a range of key stakeholders, including the Area Finance team (Controlling and Accounting), the leadership team, and operational and functional teams at local, Area, EMEA, and HQ levels.
Requirements
- Approximately 7 years of professional experience in a comparable role.\n• Strong knowledge of MS Office and SAP.\n• Experience with HFM (including SmartView) and Power BI.\n• Fluent German and English skills.\n• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS is an advantage.\n• Solution- and results-oriented with a proactive working approach and a strong sense of responsibility.\n• Self-starter who can work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.\n• Strong analytical skills.\n• Courage to take on challenges and act assertively.\n• Resilience during change processes and in "difficult" phases, as well as flexibility.\n• High attention to detail and the ability to provide well-founded estimates in a short time.\n• Ability to present the big picture while being precise and focused on the essential issues.\n• Ability to manage short-term tasks as well as medium- to long-term initiatives.\n• Clear and effective communication skills.\n• Close partnership with your business stakeholders.
