About the role

Responsibilities
- Accurate and timely production of management reports
- Reconciliation of reports to the General Ledger in the given deadline
- Preparation of monthly General Ledger Proofs
- Preparation, monitoring and control of the annual expense and revenue budget
- Assisting with the preparation of Quarterly board papers
- Weekly review of bank reconciliation
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts and annual financial statements
- Preparation of Daily Income Statement, Balance Sheet and income pipeline projections
- Provision of input for P11D returns and Paye Settlement Agreements (PSA)
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Overseeing accounts payable activities
- Preparation of profitability reports for strategic business units for presentation to executive management
- Assisting with month end close
- Preparation of reports for Asset and Liability Management Committee
Requirements
- Part qualified ACCA accountant
- Detailed understanding of the accounts payable process, reconciliation and financial reporting
- Competence in the use of Sage 50 application and SAP Concur
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Good attention to detail, adaptability, and willingness to learn
