Responsibilities
Accurate and timely production of management reports
Reconciliation of reports to the General Ledger in the given deadline
Preparation of monthly General Ledger Proofs
Preparation, monitoring and control of the annual expense and revenue budget
Assisting with the preparation of Quarterly board papers
Weekly review of bank reconciliation
Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts and annual financial statements
Preparation of Daily Income Statement, Balance Sheet and income pipeline projections
Provision of input for P11D returns and Paye Settlement Agreements (PSA)
Preparation of VAT returns
Overseeing accounts payable activities
Preparation of profitability reports for strategic business units for presentation to executive management
Assisting with month end close
Preparation of reports for Asset and Liability Management Committee
Requirements
Part qualified ACCA accountant
Detailed understanding of the accounts payable process, reconciliation and financial reporting
Competence in the use of Sage 50 application and SAP Concur
Advanced knowledge of Excel
Good attention to detail, adaptability, and willingness to learn
