About the role
- Junior UX Designer working on user-focused tools for live sports at Hawk-Eye Innovations. Collaborating with teams to enhance design and usability across a suite of innovative products.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with designers, developers, and product managers to create intuitive, user-focused experiences across our suite of tools
- Mapping user journeys and identifying pain points
- Creating wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs
- Supporting usability testing and gathering feedback
- Collaborating with engineers to bring designs into production
- Presenting design ideas and iterating based on feedback
- Contributing to our design system and component library
Requirements
- A degree in UX, Interaction Design, HCI, or similar
- Around 1–2 years’ experience in a UX, Product, or Interaction Design role (or strong graduate portfolio)
- A portfolio that demonstrates user-centred thinking and problem solving
- Understanding of usability principles and testing approaches
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly to different audiences
- Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Experience designing for web or desktop applications
- Familiarity with tools such as Figma, Axure, or Adobe Creative Suite
- Awareness of front-end technologies
- Interest in sport, broadcasting, or live production environments
