About the role
- ESG Intern assisting with environmental, social, and governance initiatives at papernest in Barcelona. Supporting data collection, analysis, and corporate citizenship programs.
Responsibilities
- Support the monitoring and reporting of the company’s environmental footprint by collecting and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Assist in calculating the company’s carbon footprint (Scope 1, 2, and 3)
- Track and report on energy and water consumption patterns
- Data collection related to waste reduction initiatives and recycling rates
- Contribute to the tracking of social impact metrics and the development of internal and external corporate citizenship programs
- Maintain and update dashboards regarding gender parity and workforce diversity
- Support the monitoring of labor conditions and human rights compliance across the supply chain
- Assist in coordinating and reporting on corporate volunteering and social impact initiatives
- Assist in ensuring corporate transparency and compliance with international sustainability regulations
- Support the tracking of anti-corruption policies and contract ethics reviews
- Monitor compliance with key regulations (e.g., CSRD, GDPR, and Duty of Care/Vigilance laws)
- Assist in preparing documentation and data for internal or external ESG audits.

- Fluency in French, English, and Spanish
- Strong analytical skills
