Tax Accountant ensuring accuracy and compliance in Corporate Income Tax reporting for EMEA region. Collaborating with Global Tax Team and external providers while supporting audits and process improvements.
Responsibilities
Prepare tax data and tax calculation for group tax packages for quarterly and annual reporting (Tax package) including both current and deferred tax for companies in EMEA region
Verify data accuracy in financial systems (AX, HFM, S/4) and perform tax account reconciliations
Provide data for annual CIT returns for companies in EMEA region
Work with external service providers on the preparation and review of CIT returns in EMEA region
Collaborate closely with Global Tax team to ensure compliance with both group reporting requirements and local tax requirements
Monitor CIT deadlines, payments, and ensure timely submissions of tax returns and other filings needed in EMEA region
Support withholding tax reporting including return preparation, deadlines monitoring, ensure timely payments, and coordinate with internal stakeholders and vendors
Support tax audits
Participate in standardization and automation projects (SOPs, templates) for tax reporting and tax return process
Ensure compliance with group tax requirements and local tax regulations
Support VAT compliance reporting and Intrastat reporting, when needed.
Requirements
University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Tax
Minimum 3+ years of experience in tax or finance within an international environment, especially with tax reporting and compliance and processes in GBS structures
Understand financial statements and use them in tax processes (e.g., account reconciliations, understanding tax in financial statement and providing data for tax in the financial statement)
Strong knowledge of CIT and CIT tax reporting processes
Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics AX, HFM, S/4) and MS Excel
Good command of English and Polish (written and spoken)
Accuracy, analytical thinking, and proactive problem-solving approach.
