About the role

  • Revenue Accountant responsible for revenue contracts and compliance with ASC606. Engaging in financial accuracy and collaboration in a technology effectively enhancing public safety.

Responsibilities

  • Focused on processing and reviewing standard revenue contracts, ensuring compliance with ASC606, and supporting the monthly close.
  • Apply meticulous attention to detail to ensure understanding and handling of orders are error-free and compliant.
  • Gain the ability to independently review and process standard, repeatable sales orders, and revenue contracts.
  • Collaborate with the Sr. Revenue Accountant to ensure sales order approvals process efficiently, avoiding bottlenecks.
  • Consistently process routing contracts and maintain accurate revenue records with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • 1– 3 years' experience in accounting, including focus on revenue accounting
  • Public accounting experience and experience with publicly traded companies preferred
  • Expert level proficiency using Excel
  • Experience with NetSuite preferred
  • Understanding of ASC606 principals
  • Experience working in a SOX compliant environment strongly preferred
