Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy, prioritizing all digitalization and modernization initiatives
Lead and coach an experienced IT team (5 internal employees) and manage external service providers
Provide strategic guidance and operational responsibility for the server and client environment, including VMware, Oracle, Windows/Linux and M365, with the option to decide strategically on in-house operation
Full responsibility for the further development of the existing portfolio/record-keeping system and the introduction of a document management system (DMS)
Optimize IT processes, support structures and communication between IT and business units, including establishing a clear key-user structure and positioning IT as a reliable internal service provider
Establish and maintain an Information Security Management System (ISMS), implement compliance requirements and protect sensitive data
Support cross-departmental digitalization and AI projects, including identifying relevant use cases
Ensure committed, transparent communication with executive management, business units and key users
Requirements
Several years of leadership experience in IT and proven ability to advance complex IT landscapes and projects
Broad technical understanding across infrastructure, security and applications, combined with confident communication at management and business-unit levels
Strong service orientation, stakeholder management skills and the ability to coach and engage an established team
Empathetic yet assertive leadership style with an ownership mentality and a structured, independent approach to work
Native-level German language skills, solid English skills, and a clean criminal record (certificate of good conduct)
