About the role
- Accounts Payable Analyst overseeing financial compliance and governance in a strategic banking backoffice. Engaging with executive profiles and ensuring adherence to internal policies.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and validate domestic and international invoices.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, approval limits, recurrence, and governance.
- Act as custodian of the process, ensuring everything complies with standards and is properly approved.
- Control recurring and one-off payments and follow up with the involved departments when necessary.
- Analyze inconsistencies and support decisions on approval or rejection of payments.
- Manage reimbursements, requesting justifications and ensuring correct reporting in the system.
- Administer corporate cards issued nationwide.
- Validate expense reports and review justifications for corporate expenses.
- Ensure expense compliance with internal policies, including for sensitive items, always with awareness and authorization from area leadership.
- Work directly with director-level and senior management profiles, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consultative service.
- Assess risks, identify operational inconsistencies, and guide partner areas.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress): Business Administration, Accounting, Financial Management, or related fields.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel).
- Basic English.
- Experience in accounts payable within corporate environments.
- Experience supporting high-level executives.
- Knowledge of governance, compliance, and accounting classification.
