About the role

  • Temporary Junior Accounts Payable Analyst for Omni's companies, covering maternity leave. Responsible for payment analysis, validation, and internal client support.

Responsibilities

  • The Accounts Payable team consists of four professionals and this opening is a temporary replacement due to maternity leave.
  • The professional will be responsible for receiving, reviewing, and approving payments according to the eligibility of fiscal documents and taxes, in accordance with the National Tax System.
  • In addition, the hire will be responsible for controlling general advances and their settlement, ensuring payment line items align with accounting, and providing support to internal/external clients and partners, among other activities.
  • Responsible for analyzing, validating, and approving administrative payments;
  • Responsible for the entire process of releasing court-related fees (advances, settlements, sample-based review, commission deductions, reimbursements, control, reconciliation, etc.) and for forwarding reports to the appropriate areas;
  • Control outstanding advances to suppliers, employees, and partners;
  • Validate and approve RPA (recibo de pagamento autônomo - receipts for independent contractors), AP (autorização de pagamento - payment authorizations) and inform involved areas through reports;
  • Receive invoices from banking correspondents for validation and approval of commission payments and forward control reports to the appropriate areas;
  • Provide consultative support via various tools to agents, partners, employees, suppliers, etc.;
  • Keep payment history updated by category and maintain payment line item records consistent with the linked accounting account;
  • Participate in projects and maintenance activities related to the function;
  • Support internal and external audit processes (accounting/tax).

Requirements

  • Knowledge of accounts payable routines and integrated systems;
  • Knowledge of tax legislation (National Tax Code);
  • Regulatory standards of the financial system (basic);
  • Quantitative logical reasoning;
  • Advanced Excel skills;
  • Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or similar fields;
  • Personal attributes: flexibility; discretion; critical thinking; teamwork.
  • Postgraduate course or MBA in Tax Management/Administration/Finance is a plus.
