Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and monitor integrated business strategies to achieve short-term and long-term organizational goals.
- Lead the end-to-end portfolio management lifecycle—including project planning, initiation, resource allocation, execution, benefits realization, and value tracking.
- Maintain awareness of market research and analysis to identify strategic opportunities and risks, and translate external trends into relevant internal actions.
- Ensure strategic initiatives are aligned with overall business objectives by collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior leaders.
- Establish and maintain effective portfolio governance practices to prioritize, monitor, and report on projects and programs for maximum business value.
- Prepare and present strategic plans and recommendations to executive leadership.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing, scalable project management team, leveraging internal and external resources as needed.
- Drive ad-hoc strategic initiatives and continuously identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic management, portfolio management, program leadership, or management consulting within financial services, insurance, or related industries.
- Proven experience managing large, complex project portfolios and teams, including third-party and cross-functional resources.
- Strong knowledge of portfolio and project management methodologies, techniques, and best practices, as well as strategy development and execution.
- Ability to blend innovation and agile methodologies with traditional project management to optimize outcomes and collaboration.
