About the role

  • Outside Sales Representative generating new business and maintaining client relationships for pipes and valves in the oil and gas sector. Collaborating with internal teams and representing the company at industry events.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve company sales targets and objectives in the designated territory
  • Identify and prospect new clients within the oil and gas industry
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations
  • Collaborate with the internal sales team
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of sale
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends
  • Prepare regular sales reports and updates
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university is preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales or a similar role is required
  • Previous Oil & Gas/Energy Industry experience is preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
