Chinese-speaking Project Manager focusing on large industrial construction projects for Gray Construction. Oversee subcontractors and manage project schedules in Charlotte, NC or Lexington, KY.
Responsibilities
Coordinate interrelating activities of subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and customers
Monitor and report on the financial status of the project(s)
Responsible for subcontract and contract administration
Develop job progress schedule to ensure construction parallels with the schedule
Purchase and monitor the delivery of all needed materials for the project(s)
Negotiate contracts with subcontractors
Review and approve subcontractor and vendor payment requests
Issue changes in the work to receive prices from subcontractors
Work with design and engineering managers to ensure project(s) is/are designed, procured, and constructed within operating guidelines
Prepare various reports to manage the project(s)
Organize and maintain job files to ensure continuity of workflow
Submit verbal and written reports on project status to management
Review shop drawings and submittals to ensure compliance with scope of work
Responsible for the communication, implementation, and enforcement of Gray’s safety and quality programs on site
Requirements
10-15 years of experience in construction management
Minimum of 7-10 years' experience managing large industrial construction projects
Experience as lead project manager of a construction project
Experience with data center/mission critical experience
Preference for candidates with a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture
