About the role

  • Assistant Project Manager in Food and Beverage Market overseeing job progress and project coordination. Engaging with subcontractors, managing reports, and enforcing safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, update and monitor job progress using QMS program
  • Perform quantity take off(s), cost estimates and bid solicitation
  • Purchase and coordinate the delivery of certain materials for the project(s)
  • Review and approve invoices and change orders
  • Negotiate with subcontractors and vendors for specific trades
  • Review vendor and subcontractor shop drawing submittals
  • Attend weekly job site meetings
  • Assist in the preparation of various reports to assist in the successful management of the project(s)
  • Submit verbal and written reports on project status to supervisor
  • Communicate effectively with customer, direct consultants and subcontractors on the project(s)
  • Responsible for the communication, implementation and enforcement of Gray’s safety program on site.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
  • Minimum of three years related experience
  • Basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet and e-mail applications
  • May require working knowledge of scheduling applications
  • Energetic, self-motivated individual who enjoys a team environment
  • Passion for collaboration and professional development.
