About the role

Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate multiple geothermal exploration programs worldwide
- Manage exploration projects from early-stage scoping and permitting through execution
- Apply Ormat’s well delivery process during drilling campaigns
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
- Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Serve as an interface between various teams and align objectives across departments
- Support special projects requiring project management
- Drive outcomes in a fast-paced environment while ensuring budgets and schedules are met
- Conduct field site visits to monitor progress and safety, providing documentation and updates throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- A Bachelor of Business or Engineering Degree or related field
- PMP project management qualification required or commitment to achieve certification
- Five (5) years’ experience directly associated with projects, preferably related to drilling or geothermal projects
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects
- Experience working with diverse cultures is advantageous
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Expert knowledge of creating business requirements, work plans, project schedules, and associated project artifacts
- Professional-level capabilities with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project)
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- The ability to speak and write in multiple languages is preferred, specifically Spanish, French, Bahasa
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time to various locations per project
