About the role

  • Experienced Project Manager at FintechOS, delivering complex software projects in the CEE market. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and alignment with regional goals.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Delivery Director and CEE-based teams to align project execution with strategic regional goals.
  • Manage multi-disciplinary delivery teams, ensuring effective collaboration across European time zones and various delivery methodologies.
  • Drive structured project execution while maintaining flexibility to adapt to the specific regulatory and business needs of CEE clients.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement across internal teams, regional implementation partners, and senior leadership, ensuring transparent communication.
  • Support Sales and Pre-Sales activities by providing delivery input, timelines, and risk assessments for local and regional prospects.
  • Own project governance, including tracking dependencies, risks, issues, and change requests to ensure regional compliance and accountability.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate delivery blockers specific to local infrastructure or integration challenges before they impact outcomes.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for project challenges, maintaining a strategic, big-picture perspective on the regional market.
  • Ensure successful end-to-end delivery from initiation through closure, incorporating local market lessons learned into continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, delivering complex software implementation projects specifically within the CEE or European market.
  • Strong understanding of PMO frameworks, governance models, and reporting standards.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies, applying the right approach based on the specific client environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate diverse corporate cultures and influence executive leadership.
  • Solid knowledge of Agile and Scrum principles (Scrum Master certification is a plus).
  • Proficiency with PM tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent platforms.
  • Strong experience in risk and change management within highly regulated environments.
  • Experience in financial services, banking, or insurance is highly preferred given the focus on CEE financial institutions.
  • Coaching and mentoring capabilities to support local delivery teams and junior project managers.
