About the role

  • Trade Marketing Manager for mera focusing on national and international trade activities. Collaborating with various teams to enhance brand presence and sales performance in the FMCG industry.

Responsibilities

  • Take on a key role at the interface between brand and sales
  • Responsible for planning, developing and implementing all national and international trade and POS activities
  • Develop and implement national trade marketing strategies to increase sell-through and brand visibility
  • Design and execute POS campaigns, promotions and shopper activations (national & international)
  • Responsible for annual planning and the trade marketing budget
  • Close collaboration with Sales, Brand Management, Communications, Digital and the field sales team
  • Manage external agencies and service providers
  • Develop high-impact sales materials, displays and presentations for key accounts
  • Monitor and evaluate campaign performance (e.g. ROI, sell-out, distribution)
  • Support international partners with market entry and activations abroad

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in trade/shopper marketing or brand activation, ideally within FMCG
  • Experienced in working with key accounts, field sales and retail structures
  • Confident in budget planning, agency management and campaign execution
  • Pet food experience advantageous but not required
  • Creative and strategic with strong skills in in-store brand presentation (POS)
  • Strong hands-on mentality, high self-motivation and enthusiasm
  • Excellent communication skills, structured approach and ability to work independently
