About the role

• Project Manager for leading travel company managing MICE projects from conception to completion. Engaging with clients to deliver exceptional events in Greek destinations while overseeing operational support.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead the creation of enticing, detailed proposals and budgets, strategically negotiating with vendors and suppliers to optimize costs and maximize value.
• Manage the end-to-end response process for Requests for Proposals (RFPs), crafting compelling submissions that showcase the company's unique offerings.
• Lead the execution of MICE projects from concept to completion, including performing site inspections and overseeing on-site operations in Greek destinations (Athens, Santorini, Mykonos, Crete, Rhodes, Corfu, etc.).
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and acting as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate the MICE back-office team to ensure complete operational support and execution.
• Proactively develop cross-selling opportunities, promoting services to enrich client experiences and drive business growth.
• Ensure meticulous financial management, from timely billing submissions to post-event reconciliation and reporting.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within the travel industry, with specialization in event planning).
• In-depth knowledge of Greek MICE destinations, including hotels, restaurants, venues, and unique local experiences.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and/or French.
• Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
