About the role

  • Systems Engineer managing VMware vSphere/ESXi architecture and enterprise storage systems. Implementing DR solutions and supporting advanced data management for semiconductor technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead VMware vSphere/ESXi architecture, cluster operations, lifecycle management, and performance tuning
  • Manage Rubrik backups, SLA policies, archival workflows, replication, and orchestrated DR operations
  • Implement and maintain Zerto and/or Rubrik Orchestrator for automated failover, recovery workflows, and DR testing
  • Administer Cloudian HyperStore object storage platforms and capacity planning
  • Support Komprise data lifecycle management, analytics, and file tiering optimization
  • Maintain enterprise storage platforms including Pure Storage and HPE storage systems
  • Support HPE Synergy compute infrastructure, firmware updates, and template management
  • Administer Microsoft Active Directory and O365/Entra ID hybrid services
  • Intune Administration
  • Vulnerability and Patch Management
  • Systems and Storage lifecycle management
  • PKI infrastructure management
  • Participate in data center buildouts, hardware refresh planning, rack/power design, and operational support
  • Contribute to disaster recovery planning, runbooks, testing, including hybrid on-prem and cloud DR architectures

Requirements

  • 7+ years of enterprise systems administration or engineering experience
  • Expertise with VMware vSphere/ESXi and virtual infrastructure management
  • Hands-on experience with Rubrik, Rubrik Orchestrator, and/or Zerto DR automation platforms
  • Experience with Cloudian and Komprise for object storage and file data lifecycle management
  • Strong background in Microsoft Active Directory and Windows Server
  • Experience with enterprise storage platforms (Pure Storage, HPE)
  • Data center build/design experience with strong operational discipline
  • Experience leveraging Agile principles
  • Strong understanding of DR concepts, including hybrid on-prem/cloud architectures and orchestrated failover
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, GDPR, ISO 27001)
  • Understanding of hybrid infrastructure environments and cloud computing principles
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and an analytical mindset
