- Strong knowledge of financial accounting and the financial close process
- Confident knowledge of HGB; familiarity with other accounting standards (e.g., IFRS) is a plus
- Analytical, structured working style and enjoyment of complex issues
- Ability to work independently, strong sense of responsibility and high quality standards
- Strong communication skills and a confident manner when liaising with internal and external contacts
- Very good German and good English skills
