About the role
- As HSE Manager, you will independently assume the responsibilities of an Occupational Safety Specialist in accordance with legal and company requirements.
- You will support the preparation of risk assessments and the associated work and operating instructions for both onshore and offshore areas.
- You will ensure the flow of information to all employees regarding existing HSE rules and communicate changes to safety and emergency procedures.
- You will independently advise and support the implementation of HSE objectives and programs.
- In addition, you will prepare training and instruction materials and actively support the delivery of training sessions.
- You will conduct regular site inspections at workplaces onshore and at sea.
- You will share responsibility for HSE system development, follow-up, and documentation of HSE-related incidents.
- You will ensure the integration of regulatory permit requirements and act as the interface to authorities and clients.
- Finally, you will prepare HSE-related documents for reporting and presentations.
Requirements
- You hold a completed technical university degree, a master/technician qualification, or an equivalent qualification, preferably in electrical engineering.
- Further training as an Occupational Safety Specialist is desirable.
- Ideally, you have professional experience in occupational safety, preferably in offshore wind or electrical engineering, but this is not a requirement.
- You have good knowledge of the relevant legal regulations.
- You are characterized by process-oriented thinking, a confident and persuasive manner, and strong team and communication skills.
- You communicate confidently in spoken and written German and English.
- Willingness and qualification to participate in overseas and offshore assignments complete your profile.
