Responsibilities
- Develop the sourcing strategy for assigned commodities.
- Communicate, and manage business unit compliance with the strategy.
- Manage and influence across teams.
- Remain current on supply market trends, supplier economics, and best practice sourcing.
- Utilize commodity knowledge to negotiate best cost for Rockwell.
- Responsible for Global Supplier Management.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance (quality, delivery, service levels) of all suppliers.
- Conduct regular strategic reviews with suppliers and team members to ensure continuous improvement of the supply base.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field

- The ability to travel 25% of the time
- Minimum five (5) years of progressive experience in buying, project management or operations management.
- Experience negotiating with suppliers.
- Basic knowledge of electronic commodities.
- Manage projects requiring identification of goals, resources and approaches.
- Working knowledge of purchasing systems is essential, preferably SAP.
