Accountant managing financial control for electric vehicle leasing at Octopus Electric Vehicles. Assisting with financial management, reconciliations, and process improvements.
Responsibilities
Performance of reconciliations and timely resolution of highlighted variances
Month end reporting, including journals and financial analysis
Tracking and reporting on vehicles purchased on a weekly basis, with business stakeholder
Work closely with our Finance Operations team to resolve reconciliation issues
Help manage creditor and debtor ledgers and deal with any queries regarding payments or receipts
Assist with audit and tax queries
Identify and drive the implementation of new processes and process improvements
Requirements
Experience working in a Finance team
Experience using accounting software and data tools
Qualified Accountant preferred (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
Minimum 3 years experience in finance or accounting
Advanced Excel skills
Strong communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Proactive attitude towards your work
Thrives in a scale-up, high-transaction environment with evolving needs
Experience with the following would be beneficial but not essential: Experience with Netsuite accounting package, Financial services experience
