About the role

  • Conseiller(e) territorial(e) advising farmers on PAC 2026 declarations and conducting agricultural diagnostics with specific tools. Collaborating on local and national agricultural development projects.

Responsibilities

  • SUPPORT AND ADVISE farmers with their CAP 2026 declarations and enter data into the TELEPAC mapping tool
  • CARRY OUT AGRICULTURAL FARM DIAGNOSTICS using the DIAM tool as part of the BIODIPRE project conducted across the Massif Central
  • PARTICIPATE IN ACTIONS of the Auvergne Estive network aimed at capitalizing (techniques and skills) on pastoralism
  • PERFORM service, technical, administrative and regulatory support missions for farmers in the area
  • CONDUCT DIAGNOSTICS enabling eligible farmers to join MAEC schemes and potential monitoring using the “mes parcelles” tool
  • PARTICIPATE in the collection of field data as part of a national program on grass growth

Requirements

  • Preferred education: Bachelor's degree / Engineering degree
  • Understanding of system coherence/global approaches and economic strategy
  • Interest in providing individual and collective field advisory services
  • Group facilitation skills
  • Rigour, organization and methodical work approach
  • Ability to synthesize and produce summaries
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ease in building relationships
  • Ability to work autonomously in carrying out assignments
  • Category B driving licence (travel within the department and to neighboring departments may be required)
  • Interest in botany and identification of grassland species
