About the role

  • Crisis RN Manager providing administrative and clinical supervision to nursing staff at the Resource and Crisis Center. Overseeing hiring, training, and ensuring quality patient care within crisis services.

Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative and clinical supervision to all nursing staff and mental health technicians
  • Oversees hiring, training, and performance evaluations
  • Participates in on-call crisis responses
  • Supports quality assurance and interdepartmental collaboration
  • Provides professional nursing care including assessment, care and treatment of clients
  • Leads quality improvement initiatives, including incident reviews and corrective actions
  • Develops and manages staff schedules to ensure 24/7 coverage and continuity of care within the units and crisis services

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required; master's degree preferred
  • Minimum five years of leadership experience working in a human service, crisis or medical environment
  • Minimum of five years of psychiatric nursing experience
  • Experience in working with electronic health records
  • Experience in customer service
  • Experience in crisis de-escalation
  • Experience working with adults with severe mental illness, substance use disorder or intellectual/developmental disabilities
  • Experience working with children with serious emotional disturbance
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Clinical knowledge of mental health and suicide prevention
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, Microsoft 365, Mental Health Code, and Regulatory compliance
