Responsibilities
Conduct regular risk assessments and audits across all locations to identify potential safety hazards and compliance issues.
Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures to enhance safety and minimize liability.
Collaborate with staff and management to create a strong culture of safety awareness.
Provide training and guidance on safety protocols and emergency procedures to all employees.
Coordinate incident reporting and management, investigating accidents or issues to determine causes and preventive measures.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to childcare facilities.
Work closely with insurance providers and legal counsel to manage risk exposures.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in risk management, safety management, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in risk management or a related role, preferably in the education sector.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment techniques, and crisis management.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
Proactive approach to identifying risks and implementing solutions.
Certifications in risk management or safety (preferred).
