About the role

  • Portfolio Specialist managing Novo Nordisk’s Diabetes & Obesity product portfolio and building customer relationships. Collaborating cross-functionally and executing sales and marketing strategies in a regional setting.

Responsibilities

  • You implement the national sales and marketing strategy and build sustainable relationships with key customers
  • Independently plan, execute and analyze customer interactions and create a territory-specific activity plan
  • Take responsibility for the commercial success of the focus products and organize regional training programs (in-person & digital)
  • Actively participate in conferences, meetings and awareness campaigns to promote innovations and pipeline products
  • Carefully document all activities in the CRM system and pursue continuous professional development through internal and external training

Requirements

  • Certified pharmaceutical representative, pharmaceutical advisor, or comparable qualification according to §75 AMG (e.g., a degree in a natural science) is required
  • Initial professional experience in pharmaceutical field sales is an advantage
  • Experience in diabetes, cardiology or other cardiometabolic conditions is desirable but not mandatory
  • Strong communication skills when interacting with diverse customer groups, especially in handling challenging situations
  • Clear commercial target and customer orientation
  • Experience with digital communication concepts
  • Fluent written and spoken German is required
