About the role

  • Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst providing financial and administrative support at Northrop Grumman. Involves performance management, financial planning, and cost analysis across programs.

Responsibilities

  • interface with the program managers, functional management, and cost account managers (CAMs) to provide financial and administrative support and analysis to meet program requirements
  • experience with monthly performance management, financial planning and reporting, and performance measurement baseline concepts
  • perform analyses and prepare reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
  • conduct cost analysis to develop BACs, EACs, generate financial inputs, and support monthly cost and schedule reviews
  • set up cost control systems (e.g. SAP and COBRA) and incorporate changes into the cost management system to maintain cost and schedule baselines
  • support audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management

Requirements

  • Master’s degree with 3 years’ experience or bachelor’s degree with 5 years' proven experience in program control, cost planning, finance and/or similar industry related fields
  • Experience with MS Office including Excel (with Macros, Pivot tables and VLOOKUP) and PowerPoint
  • Experience supporting a robust business rhythm with control requirements and deliverables
  • Experience with financial forecasting of Awards / Sales / Margin / Cash
  • Experience with Earned Value Management and utilizing EVMS for effective program execution
  • Master’s degree with 6 years’ experience or bachelor’s degree with 8 years' proven experience in program control, cost planning, finance and/or similar industry related fields
  • Experience leading or training teams or peers
  • Experience supporting a DoD Program with EVSM requirements
  • Understanding of and experience with providing support to Integrated Product Teams (IPT)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret within a reasonable period of time.
