About the role
- Material Estimating Pricing Analyst preparing estimates for proposals and ensuring compliance with regulations at Northrop Grumman. Collaborating with cross-functional teams on multiple proposals.
Responsibilities
- Prepare material estimates for proposal submittals by:
- Understanding customer requirements through RFPs and other requests
- Collaborating and coordinating with proposal technical teams to develop the material estimating strategy
- Selecting appropriate pricing methods (e.g., PO History, vendor quotes) for each item included in the proposal
- Working on multiple priority proposals concurrently
- Ensuring compliance with Customer and FAR/DFAR Regulatory Requirements
- Supporting proposal reviews with detailed Bills of Materials and Cost Estimating Relationships (CERs)
- Preparing Bill of Material pricing templates to support proposal-specific pricing models
- Supporting risk and opportunity assessment, quantification, and analysis during the proposal estimating process
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of combined experience in Pricing, Estimating, Global Supply Chain or another Business Management related function or a Master’s Degree with 1 years of experience; or 6 years of related experience in Pricing, Estimating in lieu of degree
- U.S. Citizenship required
- The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance is required
