About the role

  • Commercial Support Manager overseeing pricing strategies and execution within the APAC region. Collaborating with stakeholders to enhance profitability and market alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end commercial case execution, including pricing design and pricing mechanisms to maximize in‑year and lifetime sales and profitability.
  • Develop and drive market‑, customer‑, and case‑specific pricing strategies aligned with business group guidelines and account strategies.
  • Define and execute optimal deal pricing during proposal development, bid processes, and contract negotiations.
  • Perform profitability estimation, margin analysis, and pricing optimization for commercial proposals.
  • Support business development, pre‑sales, and sales teams with value‑based pricing and commercial strategy inputs.
  • Generate pricing analytics, benchmarking, and scenario analysis to support strategic and tactical decision‑making.
  • Ensure pricing consistency across markets and represent NI in multi‑Business Group commercial offers.
  • Contribute to strategic commercial decisions and continuously improve pricing models, processes, and best practices.

Requirements

  • 14+ years of relevant experience in commercial support, pricing, deal structuring, or profitability management within a technology or telecom environment.
  • Strong knowledge of pricing methodologies, value‑based pricing, margin management, and deal optimization.
  • Experience in end‑to‑end pricing design, including negotiation support and lifecycle revenue analysis.
  • Good understanding of commercial and contractual terms; legal exposure is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of IP networking technology and IP portfolio offerings is a strong advantage.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with experience in analytical modeling and pricing analytics.
  • Strong analytical, structured, and detail‑oriented approach with a focus on first‑time‑right, high‑quality deliverables.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a global environment
