About the role

  • Manager leading third party engagements and advocacy strategy at Northrop Grumman. Developing external engagement strategies in support of programs and priorities while collaborating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead third party engagements and advocacy strategy and implementation
  • Develop and execute external engagement strategies in support of Northrop Grumman programs and priorities
  • Coordinate internal company support for advocacy events
  • Collaborate with suppliers, third party organizations, and external stakeholders
  • Engage and develop relationships with elected officials, suppliers / partners, state and local leaders, and third parties

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline
  • at least 8+ years of experience in government relations, legislative, communications, or advocacy activities
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain internal and external relationships related to aerospace and defense and/or political affairs
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Experience communicating with federal leaders and key decision makers
  • Experience executing advocacy strategy and collaborating effectively across teams
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance
