Global Category Manager for R&D Solutions at Nokia, focusing on supplier management and procurement strategies. Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure competitive market rates and effective service delivery.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible to support the Solutions Sourcing team within the Manufacturing and Delivery Master Category to reach Nokia competitive market rates for the R&D Solutions Category.
The R&D Solutions category deals with procurement of services from suppliers for software development and hardware-related design for incorporation into Nokia products.
This includes Subcontracting to Suppliers for Design, Development, Testing, Maintenance, Technical Support and Research.
You will be working closely with the sourcing team and our stakeholders to support RFQ’s and commercial negotiations with your R&D service suppliers.
You will be responsible for the sourcing, contracting and management of the commercial relationship with the R&D services suppliers within your category.
You will be the supplier relationship manager of your supplier base.
Requirements
Expert in contract management and negotiation, strong stakeholder management, communication, influencing and networking skills.
You show business acumen, are able to simplify complexity and are familiar with decision making and leading through ambiguous situations.
Expert in price negotiation and related data analysis, you are motivated by working with numbers to support and feed the sourcing processes and decisions.
You enjoy multitasking, cross-functional and cross-cultural teamwork and know to leverage it for mutual success. While you are pragmatic, curious and can manage and drive change, you are also able to ensure compliance and act as a gatekeeper ensuring the Nokia standards needed for a sustainable supply chain.
You have the mindset for continuous improvement and you never settle for the status quo but are curiously seeking new improvement possibilities.
You are able to work under time pressure against agreed goals in the daily reality.
Understanding of current used procurement tools is an asset.
Language: English.
Good knowledge of MS Office package, especially MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI is an asset.
Knowledge of R&D services specifics and related sourcing is a strong asset
Master’s degree or equivalent preferably in Engineering, Business Management, Supply Chain or Procurement., Ideally 5+ years’ experience in a procurement environment
